Imagine if the Little Rascals were 20-30 years older and girls were invited.
Go Waitsburg is a collective (not another club) where we can collaborate. All our clubs and groups can share information, concept-plan and organize ourselves into action in order grow in the direction where we want to go.
And have some fun events doing it
So the boys over in Lind Washington have a pretty cool thing going on. We think it would be need to compete with them.
Currently, GoWaitsburg is soliciting for some wild and crazy country boys (or girls) to spearhead the group project of putting together a combine for derby-ing.
We’ll help with financing the endeavor (fundraising and sponsors are our thing) and you and your buddies put in the know-how, parts and elbow grease.
Lind Combine Derby is early June. So lets get something going this winter for the summer of 2024 and make it happen.
Encourage STAR FITNESS to fire back up to help the town focus on health and strength 💪.
Upgrades include rollup curtains, automated RFID keyed entry, upgraded camera monitoring and more.
A goal to encourage and support the 24-Hour fitness center. Help put the weight back in Weightsburg and pre-raise your hand that you’d be willing to buy a membership at $40 per month for a 1-year contract.
This is a non-commitment pledge (GoWaitsburg is not affiliated or financially involved with the gym other than we love gains). We will gather the votes to give the owners an idea of what they could expect if they were to reactivate and open again.
Show your support. Signup on an early commitment.
Price targets are a $25 activation fee with $40/mo or $33.33mo if paid up front annually.
Interested in helping operate the business? Check the box on the form if you’re able to dedicate 8+ hours per week for a reasonable wage or trade agreement. Cleaning, member management and inquiry support are all duties that would need assistance.
Please note, GOWAITSBURG is not affiliated with the gym at this time… but we will be passing along your info to help with their starting back up.
It passed!
Rural towns across the US are struggling to keep their volunteer fire departments funded. And resources are stretched dangerously thin.
The community has voiced concerns about missed calls, but with a 100% volunteer staff and 95% of that staff working out of town during the workweek, missed calls are going to happen.
The CWW Fire District 2 is taking steps to solve the missed calls and maintain/upgrade equipment to meet the needs and demands of the community.
We’re looking for folks who have ideas, can make cool stuff happen, work as a team, and are chill.
1 Peter 3:8 sums up the concept.
Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous.
